Greetings To My Wonderful Students,
It is very hard for me to believe that we are at the end of the
school year. Who knew that when we started school back in September,
it would end like this? Life is full of surprises and you all did an amazing
job adapting to a major change. We shared a very unique experience
together and I am very glad to have been on this journey with you and
your families.
I am incredibly proud of each and every one of you. You all
persevered when faced with the challenges of Remote Learning. Along the
way, many of you have become experts at using various databases and
websites. Each school day, you all “showed up” and got the work done.
It has been a pleasure to watch you grow into responsible young
adults. Your hard work has helped to prepare you for fifth grade. You
most certainly have earned a well-deserved summer break; but it is
important to maintain your learning this summer. Please be sure to read
each day! You can read chapter books or continue to utilize iReady and
Raz Kids. Writing in a journal is a great way practice and develop your
writing. It is also a good idea to continue to practice the basic math
facts. You can do this with flashcards, drills that you print out, or
through online math games.
I am incredibly honored to have been your teacher this year. I
cannot wait to see you when you are in fifth grade. If you can meet the
challenges you faced this school year, then you are ready for anything.
Keep working hard! Have a wonderful summer!
Love,
Mrs. Schwarz
