High School Students Get Inside Look at Teaching

Students from Brentwood High School recently stepped into elementary classrooms to gain firsthand insight into the teaching profession during a visit to Northeast Elementary School.

The visit was part of Natalia O’Brien’s Exploring Teaching class, which introduces high school students to careers in education. During the trip, students observed classroom instruction, interacted with younger learners and saw the day-to-day responsibilities of elementary educators.

The visit reflects ongoing efforts to provide career exploration opportunities that connect classroom learning with real-world experiences.
